Zuzana Ruzickova, 1965: Harpsichord Concerto in G major, BWV 973 (After Vivaldi) - 1

Thirty-eight year old Zuzana Ruzickova (1927) performs the first movement of JS Bach's Harpsichord Concerto in G major, BWV 973 (After Antonio Vivaldi). This recording was made February 15-17, 1965 at Église Notre-Dame du Liban, Paris. I created this music video from the LP shown above, issued in 1966 on the Musical Heritage Society label, serial number MHS 696. Karl Richter, 1965: Triosonate Nr. 2 C-moll, BWV 526

Recorded in 1965 at the Jægersborg Church, Copenhagen. The six Trio sonatas were written by Bach between 1727 and 1733 as instructional works for his son Wilhelm Friedemann. I created this video from the LP depicted in the video above, Deutsche Grammophon Gesellschaft, SLPM 138907, 1965. Stich-Randall, Casoni, Bottazzo, 1965 - Magnificat in D - Saar Chamber Orchestra, Ristenpart

Karl Ristenpart leads the Saar Chamber Orchestra, and Herbert Schmolzi leads the Saarebruck Conservatory Chorus in this 1964 performance of the Magnificat in D. Features Teresa Stich-Randall, Bianca Maria Casoni, Pietro Bottazzo and Georg Littasy. Maurice Andre is trumpet soloist. Issued in 1965 on the Nonesuch label, H-71011 (stereo).
